TradeAI — Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 3, 2026 · Applies to the TradeAI iOS app.

The short version

• You can use TradeAI without creating an account.
• Your trade journal, streak and watchlist stay on your phone unless you sign in.
• We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.
• You can delete your account and all of its data from inside the app, at any time.
• TradeAI is an educational tool. It never places orders and never connects to an exchange account.

Information we process

• Journal, streak, watchlist and settings. Kept on your device. They are copied to our cloud database only if you sign in with Apple, so they can follow you to another device.
• Sign in with Apple (optional). We receive an account identifier and, if you allow it, an email address. We never receive your Apple password.
• Anonymous install identifier. A random value generated on your device, used to apply fair-use limits on our analysis server. It is not tied to your name, email or Apple ID.
• The symbol you ask about (for example BTCUSDT). Sent to our analysis server to fetch public market data and produce the analysis. It is not kept as a profile of you.
• A chart photo or screenshot, if you use the camera feature. Sent for automated recognition of which instrument the chart shows, used for that result only, then discarded. Never used for advertising, never sold.
• Notification token, if you switch price alerts on, so those alerts can reach your device. Notifications are optional and can be turned off in iOS Settings.
• Subscription status. Purchases are processed by Apple. We receive whether a subscription is active — never your card details.

What we don't do

• TradeAI has no access to any exchange, broker or wallet. It cannot place, modify or cancel an order, and never asks for exchange API keys.
• We don't sell or rent personal information.
• We don't track you across other companies' apps or websites, and the app contains no advertising SDKs.

Third-party services

TradeAI relies on the following processors: Apple (sign-in, payments, push delivery), Google Firebase (authentication, cloud database, push messaging), RevenueCat (subscription status — see RevenueCat's privacy policy), Anthropic (chart recognition and written commentary) and our own analysis server, which fetches public market data. These providers may process data outside your country. Each processes data only to provide the service.

Data retention

Chart images are retained only as long as needed to produce the result, then deleted. Your journal, streak and watchlist stay until you delete them, delete your account, or uninstall the app.

Deleting your data

Open Settings → Delete account & data in the app. This permanently removes your journal, streak, watchlist and settings from the device and from our cloud database, and closes your account. It cannot be undone. An active subscription is billed by Apple and is cancelled separately, in your Apple ID settings.

Children

TradeAI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Not financial advice

TradeAI is an educational tool. Nothing it produces is investment advice, a recommendation, or a promise of any outcome. Markets can and do lose money.

Changes

If we materially change this policy, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
